ANDY HUDSON
Managing Director
Andy has spent most of his working life in the arts and entertainment business. He has been a producer and/or director of many major musical broadcast events (mainly live) over the years including the Newcastle Arts Festivals, Cleveland Jazz Festival, Capital Radio Music Festivals and Knebworth Rock Festivals. He has also created and produced many major TV musical events.
In the 90’s as MD at Unique (now UBC media plc), Andy created 2 of the BBC’s largest events –BBC Music Live and BBC Proms in the Parks.
Since the late 90’s Andy has combined a continuing Live and TV event production career together with consultancy in new digital media. His consultancy and producer roles undertaken include;
- Consultant and TV Producer for the Opening Ceremony for Cork’s European Capital of Culture celebrations and Cork’s Worlds biggest Ceili event
- Founder and Chairman of Hub World Ltd.
- Producer for the DTI conference on digital Industries
- Member of the EU digital watermarking Forum
Andy’s current business passion is finding innovative ways to use new technology to enhance media and broadcasting services. It is from this innovation that the Get-Me-TV concept was born.
PAUL VACLIK
Chief Technical Officer
Paul Vaclik is the managing director of Broadmedia Technology Ltd. – a company specialising in the development of highly interactive and personalised marketing solutions across multiple media platforms, including the web, email, interactive television and telephony. Broadmedia has developed solutions for interactive TV clients, which are used to deliver content and manage data on many UK TV channels. Paul has built Broadmedia Technology with no external finance for the past three years and the company is about to release its flagship product which will enable the delivery of next generation interactive services over IPTV.
Before forming Broadmedia Technology, he had ten years experience in I.T. management roles at Procter & Gamble in the U.K., Europe and developing markets. During the last two years of his career at P&G he held the role of Interactive Marketing Systems manager. During that time Paul implemented some of the first Interactive Television advertising to be broadcast in the UK, developed integrated Consumer Relationship Management programs for prestige brands such as Hugo Boss and developed systems architecture to allow consumer data to be shared across the company. In other assignments he has worked extensively in Eastern Europe, Germany & Belgium and has a great deal of hands on experience working in developing markets across Europe and Asia.
DAVE WOOD
Sales Manager
Wood has been a media professional over many decades. As MD at IMPULSE STUDIOS on Tyneside, through a 25 year period from the mid-60’s, he has worked with musicians Sting, Lindisfarne, Jimmy Nail, Prelude and a host of up-and-coming writers and bands from the region. His involvement with major and independent record companies in over 27 territories led to the success of the famous NEAT RECORDS label. He moved on in the 90’s to form MEN FROM THE NORTH LTD which continued the growth of licensed music and releases under a variety of label names across the globe. MFN Ltd was finally acquired by The Sanctuary Records Group in 2001. At this point Wood set-up Outburst Music Ltd continuing in all aspects of publishing and production. Now as Sales Director of GET ME TV LTD he is keen to bring his vast experience in sales, production, and management to this fresh new Company.
JULIA GRIERSON
Customer Relations Manager
Julia’s career background is based in customer service management as well as Human Resources. She has worked in a variety of industries including print, distribution, travel and tourism. Her early career was front line customer service both overseas and in the UK.
In the 90’s, she was Customer Service and Overseas Manager for The Magic Travel brands (Italy, Spain and Portugal) when the Company won various Tour Operator of the Year and Overseas Representative Service Awards for quality and service. She has also worked as a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism (marketing, law and customer service) at Newcastle and Welwyn Colleges.
More recently, Julia’s career has been in the Human Resources field where she provided multi site HR generalist support for a print and communications Company with over 450 staff based in 4 sites across the UK. She developed policies & procedures in keeping with Company growth as well as designing and delivering a variety of training programmes. She project managed the Company’s recent success in retaining Investor in People status.
